The title refers to damage to both the amount of money they are demanding action in this trial popular and the physical damage being done to everyone involved in this case. More or less explains everything, except I think what the girl saw was a senator at that dinner should not have been there, would have the privilege Danson Congressional Oversight and regulatory information that a person under investigation should have no connection with. I guess that's what you're wondering whether or not the smoking gun, so to speak.
