Can you think of any unusual non-blues that follow a 12bar blues progression exact? It’s a long story..?
Not looking for songs that are a variation on it or pertty much it or influenced by it or anything. But close enough to be able to sing along with each other.
We have a few and they’re pretty interesting.
You can sing the Batman theme and Hound Dog along with In the Mood by Glenn Miller.
I know a lot ot early rock and roll uses it. But are there any other well-known but odd ones like Batman?
I have a friend who’s doing a funny video where she wants one of the people to sing a bunch different songs to the same piano accompaniment. Sort of a spoof of Name That Tune.
Sorry of I don’t have all the music terminology right. I’m no musician, just someone trying to help find some stuff on the Internet.
