It stars Jeremy Irons who won an Academy Award for this movie and Glenn Close. What are your thoughts on the film?
Outstanding performance by your idol. Did you know that about half-way through making the film, Jeremy Irons called the director and told him that he had been making a mistake with the voice of the character? He found the correct “voice” and so they went back dubbed over all his lines in every scene to that point.
THAT is dedication in acting and film-making.
