Glenn Close Character In Fatal Attraction

A question about the movie “Fatal Attraction”:?

Why did Michael Douglas’s character sleep with Glenn Close’s character? There didn’t seem to be anything lacking in his marriage. His wife was (in my opinion) more attractive than she, so why? Just because his wife was away for the weekend? Is fidelity that tenuous?

Ann Archer, whose mother was Marjorie Lord – the actress that played Danny Thomas’ wife on the Danny Thomas Show many years ago, is much prettier than Glenn Close. But that has nothing to do with it. Some men cannot resist having sex. They think they will not get caught. They just want to sleep with as many women as they can. Many men, and women, like to have extramarital experiences.

Variety is the spice of life, they say. I still do not know who they is.

I think this movie should be shown to men so they can see what might happen. It was a scary movie because it could happen.

I was once told by a man that it does not mean that he doesn’t love his wife. It means nothing. It is for the pleasure of the moment. So what if he sleeps with other women as long as he takes care of his wife too. Wasn’t he obnoxious?
