Billions for ACORN, $0 for NASA?
Mr. Obama has no problem doling out billions of taxpayer dollars to fund community organizing groups but in a trillion dollar budget, he can’t find $3 Billion to keep NASA flights in orbit. This will be the first time since John Glenn stepped on the moon that America will not have any space craft in low-earth orbit. I didn’t realize how drastic the cuts were to our space program until I read this attached piece by Charles Krauthammer (see link). This is so phucking discouraging. Billions of dollars are awarded to community activists for (oftentimes) wasteful pet projects, yet when it comes to keeping America on the cutting edge of science and technology, he can’t find the money.
I probably should’ve posted this question in the Media & Journalism section because my question is WHY ISN’T THIS RECEIVING MORE ATTENTION IN THE MEDIA????
